This time we went to Brainard Lake, on a tip from a friend who saw moose there a week ago. We almost passed right by them, then we saw a guy with photography equipment heading into the woods and figured he had spotted something! There are 4 bulls who still hang out together near the lake. I'm sure they won't like each other so much in the fall. We heard there was a cow with a calf hanging around the staff parking lot but we never saw her.
So strange. I commented on both these last 2 posts and they poofed!! So glad to see you back. I can't wait to see what this year holds for you. 9th grade for both of ours!! Yikes! Beautiful pictures too. :)
Ok this is the 3rd time I have tried to leave a comment. I think I am broken but I am giving it one more shot. :) I am so glad you are back and posting. My blog has suffered because of Instagram. I love all these pictures and can't wait to see what High School looks like for both of us! :)
So glad you stopped by, Karen! I posted this and a couple of days later our internet went down and we had to wait on a new modem and reconfigure everything. I think some things got lost in the shuffle! Anyway, glad to hear from you! I'm intimidated and excited by 9th grade--it's going to be fun but I also feel like I need to up my game a little. :-)

Dangit, where we you? We were in the 'moose capital' and saw 3 moose total, and no big racks.
