Love these, Especially the rivers of the world! My five-year-old just found out that the Nile River still flows today (as opposed to only when the Pharaohs lived), and so I think we are going to start learning more about it. Have a nice weekend - :-) Karen
We had fun making the poster! I was trying to work some math into our Egypt study, so we measured the yarn using a scale of 1 cm to 100 km.
If you haven't done this already, go to Google Maps and search "Great Pyramid, Giza, Egypt." You can show your boys the Nile as it looks today, plus pyramids and the Sphinx. We were amazed to see the modern neighborhoods right next to all the ancient sites.
