No one had time to write anything in their journals, so here is what we did yesterday and today:
Hiked the Park Avenue Trail, saw Queen Nefertiti and Sheep Rock.
Hiked to the Spectacles and Turret Arch.
Took pictures of pinyon pine, narrowleaf yucca, juniper, mormon tea, snakeroot, prickly pear cactus, Indian riceweed, a few early wildflowers, and cryptobiotic soil.
Visited the petroglyph sites in Kane Creek Canyon.
Went back to Pasta Jay’s for dinner. Yeah, we are so roughing it.
